Carmen is one of the six playable characters in The Path.
Appearance[]
Carmen has fair skin, plumped lips with an orange-ish highlight, and brown eyes with complimentary eyelashes with naturally small cheekbones and a slim nose, her body is slightly curved and somewhat flat chested, her short, black hair with the tips dyed neon purple gives her natural liking for red a pop of color. She also wears a fitted, black tight long sleeved shirt with a chunky red stripe going from the bottom left to the right shoulder with the back covered in red with half the shoulders and neck cut off, at the mid shoulder. Along with tight short red pants and bright carmine colored dress shoes.
History[]
Seventeen. A glorious age for a girl. Having left her childhood body behind, she enjoys parading the new Carmen. She is fully aware of the heads that turn when she passes by. She'll give them a little bit extra to look at too. A shake of the hips. A wink of the eye. But no more. Carmen fancies herself a femme fatale perhaps. But inside she knows that all she wants is a little bit of attention. From a warm and handsome man, perhaps. Who can keep her safe. Hold her tight. With a strength that approaches violence. He doesn't need to be as wild as she is, but it wouldn't hurt.
The Wolf scene[]
When Carmen reaches the Camp Site, she will find her Wolf in the guise of a middle-aged lumberjack or woodsman. Carmen can steal his hat and wear it herself, but the woodsman wouldn't mind. Whenever Carmen approaches the woodsman, he will stop cutting the trees. When Carmen sits down at the campfire, the woodsman will approach her and sit next to her. He will offer Carmen a beer and drinks one himself, after which the screen fades to black.

Trivia[]
- In the character select screen she is seen posing with a hat, a possible foreshadowing to when she takes the Woodsmans hat. (Woodsman Wolf)
- The definition of her name is: "garden, song or poem", and is also related to the word "charm".
- Her name is a play on a shade of red. This is presumed because "Carmine" is the true shade she is playing on as the on the nose "Carmen" suggests.
- The meaning behind her shade of color, Carmine, is Carmine Red is a type of crimson color. crimson is associated with activity, energy, danger, aggression and passion. Very similar to Carmen's attention grabbing, tender, and adolescent mindset, Crimson is one of the most powerful colors in a sense that it draws attention better than most other hues of red according to many.
